Busan Seomyeon YUNA Hotel Business

The staff were super friendly, and we appreciated the free laundry in the building, though detergent costs a small fee. Towels and toiletries are provided, and the rooms are spacious. It's an affordable place near central Busan. We skipped breakfast because it was a bit too early for us. Bus and subway stops are within walking distance, but the surrounding area is dirty and smells strongly of sewage, which made it unpleasant. Still, it's a decent stay if you're okay with the area.

We ended up moving to another hotel in the Haeundae Area later that day because we disliked the location. We lost the money, but it was worth it. The room was spacious, a little old, and only cleaned okay. There were several hairs on the bed. We told the front desk, and they cleaned it properly. I originally left a good review just to get the room an hour early, and I was annoyed by how they presented that option.

Yuna Hotel in Seomyeon has a lot going for it at this price. It's an easy walk to Seomyeon station, convenient for public transport and exploring Busan, with lots of shops, restaurants, and street food nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped with a big bathtub and separate shower and toilet area. Breakfast runs from 7-9am. It's basic but adequate, with instant noodles, toast you make yourself, cereal, yogurt, eggs, ham, and cheese. The staff were kind and tried to help as much as they could despite limited English. A few things made our stay uncomfortable. The cleaning products left a strong chemical smell on the room, towels, sheets, and pillowcases. We kept the windows open for days to air it out, but they couldn't be secured, so the wind made them bang at night and disturbed our sleep. The bathtub leaked and wouldn't hold water, even when we tried plugging it, the charging cables didn't work, and the front desk wasn't always staffed during its posted hours. It's a shame because the hotel could be excellent with some fixes. If strong scents bother you, you may want to avoid it. Otherwise, it's a solid budget option in a great location.

The lady serving breakfast was really nice and helpful to everyone. Breakfast was simple, with eggs, cereal, k-noodles, juice, and yoghurt. The clean, comfortable rooms have a big bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower, and bath towels were changed every day. I'd love to come back.
