Mer de laube Hotel

The location felt relaxed and local, not especially touristy despite all the hotels nearby. Most restaurants were closed by 8 pm on the Friday we stayed. The front desk staff spoke very little English, but enough to get us checked in and out quickly. It’s a fairly new hotel, with stylish rooms and lovely beach views. The bath/pool was a nice touch. A few small things could be better: there were no hooks for towels, the bathrobe cost 2,000 won to use, and the bedside light switch stayed lit all night. I got such a cheap rate that I can’t really complain.

We had a fabulous room, and the location was perfect. The views from the tip floor were wonderful.

The room was spacious with an amazing ocean view. If you’re looking for luxury and great service in Busan, this hotel should be on your list.

The male staff member at the front desk was very friendly, but the hotel was a disappointment. There wasn’t a phone in the room, so any issue meant going down to the lobby. No water dispenser either, though staff could give you up to four bottles of water, which was inconvenient. The water was shut off on the third morning and only came back in the afternoon. There were also lots of bees, flies, and mosquitoes, so we basically had to keep the windows shut. I caught a bee and another insect I couldn’t identify in the room. The room was large, and the sea view was nice, but that was about it. There’s a CU downstairs, which is very convenient.
