The pool is fairly spacious and clean, as you’d expect from a pool villa, and it’s great for kids. There’s a large dining room with a charcoal barbecue, Netflix, and a swimsuit dehydrator by the pool entrance. The location is convenient too: close to Legoland, near an E-Mart for groceries, and right by the Samaksan Cable Car departure point. The price made this a poor deal for us. I paid 1.08 million won by credit card for a 2-night, 3-day stay from Thursday through Saturday. The day before check-in, they called to ask for another 510,000 won: 200,000 won for an extra guest, a 100,000 won deposit, 50,000 won for charcoal for two nights, and 160,000 won to use the lukewarm pool water for two nights. That brought the total to 1.49 million won for the stay, not counting the deposit. ㅠㅠ The deposit also wasn’t returned right after checkout. I had to ask several times on KakaoTalk, and although I checked out Saturday, I only got it back Monday afternoon. ㅠㅠ They’d said there were three rooms, but the first-floor room wasn’t suitable for sleeping, so I had to sleep in the second-floor living room as well. The bedrooms and living room are small overall; I think the house fits four or five people at most. Cleaning could be better. The screens were torn, the window frames a bit dirty, and the bathroom wasn’t very clean. The entrance was messy with discarded cigarette butts. I wouldn’t recommend staying here at this price. If it cost about half as much, I might recommend it. Honestly, I’d have given it another star if they hadn’t charged for charcoal and lukewarm pool water.
