I booked based only on the photos, and parking turned out to be difficult. There's a free Han River Ramen station on the first floor, but it has a strong smell, and it doesn't smell like ramen. In the room, there was an ashtray right on the table, the area around the refrigerator was dirty, and the bed wasn't comfortable.

Majung is close by, with gondre rice for 13,000 won, and both Gwan-a Park and the two markets are an easy walk away. The spot is about five minutes on foot from Chungju Muhak Market and Jayu Market, on a street that seems like it may once have been a hangout for kids. The downside is that the buildings around it have aged and look pretty shabby. The bathroom is also very openly visible from outside, which feels like a bit much even for a couple.

It's really cramped inside, and the bed is noisy and hard. The room also reeks of cigarette smoke. If you're coming to visit the downtown market or restaurants, I wouldn't stay here. Honestly, don't go.
