The facilities were good, especially the bathtub, and the staff were friendly. I accidentally left my glasses there, but got them back three days later. The two women who seemed to be running the hotel were especially helpful. There are cold bottles of water in the cafeteria area, so grab some. Highly recommended.

The landlady was friendly, and the location worked well for me, just a five-minute walk from the Sungsimdang main branch. The main issue was the noise: the walls barely block anything, so you can hear conversations and even awkward sounds from next door. The facilities also feel run-down, more like a cheap motel or inn. At 100,000 won on weekends, that’s a lot to put up with.
I couldn't sleep because the soundproofing was practically nonexistent. The floorboards were loose and lifted, and I nearly hurt myself catching a foot in the gap. If cleanliness matters to you, I'd look elsewhere.
Parking was easy enough: when the hotel's spaces are full, you can use the public lot right outside and get it free by giving them your license plate at checkout. The hotel is handy for Daejeon Station, too. One thing to remember is that the desk always asks for ID, even if you look old enough, so bring it.
