Ramada by Wyndham Daejeon

The location makes it easy to eat and shop. NC, a large department store, is right next door, with a friendly food court where you can find something even if local food isn't your thing. There are temples nearby, including ones offering temple stays. The area also has plenty of bright flashing lights, motels, and golf driving ranges. Golf seems popular here, given how many ranges there are. I included the street photo to show how clean the streets can be. Since it's a chain, you'll see a lot of non-Koreans staying here. The hotel has a good feel overall, and the rooms are very clean. The shower head is one of the tallest I've seen in Korea, close to 8ft. There's not much room for a large plastic suitcase that opens in two halves, but it's workable. A CU convenience store is on the first floor, while check-in is on the 2nd floor.

The rooms were clean and a decent size, and the service was friendly. It was also handy to have a car park that's free for guests.

I really like how spacious the Hollywood King bed room is. There's plenty of room to put your things, and the rooms are larger than at other hotels with the same room title and price. The toilet also flushes automatically after you use it, which is a nice touch. I've stayed here both times, a year ago and this time, and the room has stayed clean and neat. It even had that new-accommodation smell when I first visited. LOL The area is great too, with all kinds of restaurants, bars, parks, and a college nearby. You can just head out and walk around until you find something you like. I've been on a lot of work trips and stayed at many hotels, and I can confidently say Ramada by Wyndham Daejeon is one of the best. It could make for a really nice getaway.

The room stayed at 29-30 degrees all night because I couldn't adjust the temperature, and it felt much too warm and dry. I could hear people upstairs walking and opening a window. The room itself was clean, and the water pressure was okay, though not very strong. There was also a fire alarm from smoke generated in another room. It did show that the building's fire systems are maintained well.
