That rooftop turned out to be the highlight for us. We could sit, eat, and unwind at the tables, and there was even a “stairway to heaven” we hadn't heard about beforehand, which made for some great photos. The hotel itself was a pleasant surprise too: really clean and nice, and the staff were sweet and did their best to help us.

Breakfast was bread and ham salad, with cup ramen and cereal sandwiches available. My husband thought it was like the breakfast at Ollegil Guesthouse on Jeju Island. The room-and-breakfast price was fairly low, which was a plus, but the room felt a little cold when we were trying to sleep.

There are plenty of restaurants close by, and the beds are comfortable. The rooms, banquet halls, and other facilities have been kept up so well you wouldn't guess how old the hotel is. It has that genuinely old-school luxury feel, with no mold or sand anywhere.
