The hotel is comfortable, welcoming, and close to everything in central Gangneung. The staff don’t speak much English, but they make a real effort to help.

For the price, the room was spacious and in really good shape. The hotel is tucked down an alley, about ten minutes from Gangneung Station, and it was quiet and clean. I appreciated finding three bottles of water in the fridge since I drink a lot. There’s a PC for anyone who likes gaming, though I was happy just watching TV. It was chilly outside that day, but the room was warm and ventilated well. I’d probably stay here again if I had another day in Gangneung.

I stayed here for one night during a four-day, three-night trip. Jeongdongjin Station is close, which made getting around and planning the trip convenient. The building nearby looked a bit dated, and the area didn’t feel especially romantic. There also wasn’t much to see close by, which was disappointing. Inside, I had what I needed for a comfortable rest. The lighting, layout, and decor weren’t fancy, but they had a quiet charm.
