Gwangju Sangmu Hotel 7 Bricks

Really clean, and the room is so spacious.

The parking area seems roomy, and the rooms and bedding were in good condition, which I was happy with. It’s also fairly quiet even though it’s in Sangmu District.

I only booked because everything else was full, and the stay was just okay. The staff were friendly, and the water pressure was strong with reliable hot water. But the bathroom slippers were so uncomfortable I couldn’t wear them, the door squealed loudly whenever I moved it, and I found a few hairs in there.

The room condition can be disappointing sometimes, and a bit more attention to the details would help. Still, the staff are very friendly and quick to sort out problems. The location is great and it’s good value, so it works well for a trip or a business stay.
