James and Felix in customer service worked hard to help us, and the service from them was good. The property still needs a lot of improvement, though. Our west-facing room toward the mountain got extremely hot, and the air conditioning couldn't cool it down. The bathroom ventilation wasn't working either. I also found a huge bloodstain in the middle of the mattress, hidden under a bedding pad. La Casa Hotel Gwangmyeong is quite far outside Seoul. There's a direct KTX train, but at around 8,000 KRW each way, the location still feels isolated, even with a supermarket and restaurants nearby.

The dining area on the 7F has a nice view of the hill beside the hotel. La Casa also has the young, simple style I think many visitors would like. For me, though, the room itself could use a more delicate touch.

The service was friendly and efficient, and the hotel is handy for the KTX station and shopping. My room was comfortable, functional, and well maintained, with a clean, modern boutique style. Seems especially suited to a short visit or business trip.

The location is good, with a range of restaurants and shopping malls nearby, and it's about a 40-minute drive to Incheon airport. Staff were supportive and helpful, and they speak good English. The hotel was great, with clean, spacious rooms and great amenities.
