The room was nice, but I visited during the Lunar New Year holidays and it was really hot. I didn't know how to turn the temperature down, so I slept with the window open. I also found the mattress too hard, and wasn't sure about how indoor trash should be disposed of. I don't think there was any staff member managing the pool on the 15th floor. The water quality was good and the temperature was pleasant, though I'd have liked it a little warmer.

The big draw for our family was the 15th-floor pool, with separate indoor and outdoor areas and a nice view. After touring Gyeongju historic sites in the heat, a swim sounded ideal. You can take food up with you, though there are no changing rooms or showers. The hotel is away from the noisy center in an industrial area, so the view is best if you look into the distance. The Gyeongju skyline is stunning, lol, and parking is spacious. It’s budget-friendly for pool time with family, but don’t expect five-star staff service. We booked breakfast too. You choose from three menus at check-in, plus there’s a basic salad bar, and the food was average. If the breakfast photos don’t tempt you, McDonald’s and Starbucks are about five minutes away. I’d been wary because of the negative reviews, but our room was spotless. The bathroom water stayed hot, the whirlpool tub was great, and there was body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer. The air conditioning was blazing. Most guests seemed to be families or couples.
