The hinoki cypress bath had a deep, rich aroma, and soaking in it helped me fully unwind. Dinner and breakfast were carefully prepared, refined, and delicious. We also enjoyed draft beer and highballs in the evening. It was a wonderful stay that left me with happy memories. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a calm, memorable getaway.

The facilities and Hinoki bath are truly excellent, and anyone who likes hot springs should be satisfied. But at nearly 700,000 won a night, the service and meals were disappointing. The side dishes seemed to have been made well in advance and were dried out and shriveled, even the wasabi was hard and dried. The fried food and soup were a little cold. The beef tasted good, at least. The coffee and tea in the room were decent, but the cups and kettle looked unwashed. There was lipstick from a previous guest on them, and burnt coffee stains inside the kettle. Keep that in mind if you’re planning to visit.

The room was very clean and had a Japanese home feel, even with free yukatas, so it felt like being in Japan. The big jacuzzi was lovely for relaxing as a couple, and I was happy with the room itself. The bed was somewhat hard, though, and sound carried through the walls. You generally have to book dinner and breakfast together, but the food quality was really poor. The taste and portions were both good, so I wish they offered a lower price for lodging alone.

I stayed in a suite for two nights and three days, and left feeling refreshed, with my fatigue gone. The staff all gave great service. The male staff member whose name goes by "Hyeok" was especially friendly and always greeted me with a smile, which helped make the trip so enjoyable. The location and facilities could still use some improvement.
