Stay and Home Residence

The reception staff were fine about arranging taxis, and it’s easy to walk to restaurants from here. Breakfast was good, though not brilliant. For a business hotel, the place is otherwise OK, especially if you're here on a work trip to Samsung. Winter is the real problem. Even with the temperature control turned down, my room wouldn’t get below 25C. If you’re already dealing with jetlag and struggling to sleep, that heat makes it even harder to rest. Getting good rest is what I need most from a hotel on a business trip, so this is why I rate the place poorly in winter. In summer, it’s fine because they switch the AC system on.

The walls were peeling and the room felt dated, which left me wondering if I’d been put on a hidden floor for the “day rate” guests. For a Shilla hotel, I wasn’t impressed at all. It didn’t feel like a top hotel brand, and I was disappointed.

The staff were professional and polite. A very nice hotel for both business and family stays.

The staff were really helpful, handled concerns quickly, and kept my room impeccably clean each day. Breakfast had lots of food and drink choices, including a live ramen station. I also liked the soft, comfortable bed and the view of the hill from my room. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and the gym has three treadmills, though it’s small and has only a few weights. The room itself was less impressive, especially the bathroom. There was a little mold, nothing gross, but enough to bother me once I noticed it, and a large crack in the bathroom ceiling. For what it cost, it wasn’t worth it to me.
