The location worked well for me: there’s a 7/11 right outside, and the bus stop in front of it is handy for getting to the train station, which is about 10-20 minutes away. The front desk staff were welcoming and attentive, answered my questions, and spoke intermediate English. The room was very roomy for one person, and the AC worked well in the hot weather. But it smelled of cigarettes the whole time. The sheets were stained and smelled of sweat and smoke, and there was used shampoo and conditioner in the shower. They don’t provide bath towels, so bring your own.

I only lasted there because I had few choices while in town for a concert, and I was glad it was just four days. The rooms are run down and weren’t cleaned well, and the area felt sketchy in the evening. I was moved three times, then ran out of time and gave up asking to move again. The room phone was broken, so I couldn’t call for help. Staff were useful if they were at the front desk, but otherwise you were out of luck. The woman at the desk was kind and helped order evening food delivery. The booking-site reviews are false. Highly do not recommend.

The complimentary minibar was a nice touch, and the tub is huge. Had a great stay.

For the price, the room was spacious and the bathtub was nice. There was a slight cigarette smell, though.
