The owner was very nice, and we got by using Google Translate. My daughter and I stayed for two nights in a room with two single beds. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the floors were heated. We found coffee shops nearby, Mega coffee had the best croissants, and the train station and restaurants were about a five-minute walk away. Seoul is roughly an hour away by train. I'd happily recommend the place to friends. One small suggestion: bring your own hand and face towels, since the ones provided are smaller than North American towels.

The location wasn't great either, especially if you've got luggage over 30kg, getting it to this guest house would be a nightmare. My main issue was the no-show policy. I accidentally canceled only about five minutes after making the reservation, and they still wanted to charge the full amount, even though they hadn't prepared a room or anything for me. Agoda understood what happened and contacted the guest house to ask for the charge to be waived, but they refused. I can only guess that because I'd booked at the last minute and the price was high, they didn't want to waive it.

There are much better places nearby for the same price. Our room faced a highway and a huge construction site, and the air conditioning was noisy, so there was no way to air out the room without dealing with noise. The area felt deserted, with none of the street atmosphere you get on the other side of Unseo Station.

The hosts were really nice and even helped fix my booking after I accidentally reserved the wrong night. The property was spotless, in a pleasant neighborhood with a few restaurants, and there was free coffee. It's a great spot near the airport in Seoul.
