Stay plan

The room was very clean, and I had a comfortable stay. I’d happily come back. There are charging cables and a high-quality hairdryer, though I only had small bath towels for the whole stay and there wasn’t a cup for brushing my teeth. Check-in is contactless at a kiosk: enter the last six digits of your reservation number and it issues a card. Checkout is just putting the card back in its holder. There’s a call button, but I didn’t use it. The subway and bus stop are close, and several 24-hour restaurants are within walking distance. GS25 is nearby too, but it closes late at night and on Sundays. The bathroom slippers had black stains in the holes and hair stuck in them. At night, the way out is pitch black and there’s one step, so watch your footing. It’s a three-story building with stairs only, so I’d ask for a first or second-floor room. I think it may have started out as a love hotel and been renovated, so anyone bothered by that should probably avoid it.

My booking was for two days, but at check-in it somehow showed just one night. The staff kindly fixed it to cover both nights.

When I travel alone, I look for somewhere affordable, quiet, convenient for the subway, and close to everyday things. This place fits.
