The place looked pretty, but it didn’t work well in practice. The Agoda listing promoted a private pool and even used it in the messaging icon, but it was empty when we arrived. Filling it would have cost an excessive extra fee, and the listing never mentioned that. Insects also made it hard to relax outside, though they did provide bug spray and a zapper. We weren’t sent the access code before check-in. At least one other villa shared the same code, and that wasn’t fixed during our three-night stay, so we didn’t feel safe leaving our things in the room while we were out. Getting there meant using a narrow, rough farm road with loose rocks and some minor flooding from recent rain. The place was attractive, and it might have been nice if the pool had been available as shown. Instead, it was a poor experience, with very little communication once they had our money. They also wanted extra fees for things like the pool, bath bombs, and a small barbecue. Free use of the washer and dryer was a nice bonus. This was one of the rare bad stays we had in Korea; fortunately, everywhere else was lovely and enjoyable.
