the J.
Sorry to say it, but everything looks really old, inside and out. You can look around for other places and probably find better options for about the same price without much trouble.

Geumneung Beach and Hyeopjae are nearby, which is a nice plus. I stay here whenever I come to Jeju. The interior is really pretty, and the owner is always kind. I especially appreciate that there’s no extra charge based on the number of guests. That feels considerate and really warm-hearted.
Being right by the sea makes getting around easy, and the owner was very kind. Since it’s a private villa, I got to relax properly. For the price, I think it’s excellent value, and it’d be hard to find a place like this in Jeju.
My family keeps coming back to this warm Jeju-style stone wall house. It has two bathrooms, and Geumneung Beach is close enough for a walk.
The location is a real plus, with a beach where kids can play within walking distance. The bedding was clean, and the detached pension has clear advantages, but the rest of our stay was disappointing. The house is very old, dark, and poorly maintained, with trash piled behind it where recycling seems to be hidden. There’s just one wall-mounted air conditioner in the living room, so it doesn’t cool the place very well, and sunlight doesn’t get into the house. I wouldn’t recommend it. Even for the value, I think other places are better.
