The beds don’t shake, which was nice, and check-in was just a simple email to read. It was clean enough, though guests still brought food and drinks into rooms and left them on the lockers overnight, with some spills. The toilet stall is tiny. For vegans, breakfast only had white rice, cornflakes, and juice. The staff were kind and found me a little extra something when I asked. It wasn’t the most comfortable place, but it was good enough. On checkout day, bag storage is free until 4pm; after that it costs 5000 won per day.

I’ve stayed at a few guest houses in jeju, and this would be the best one for everyone. The employers are really kind to everyone, and the people staying there know how to behave. It’s a wonderful place. I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable stay in Jeju.

I’ve made a point of staying here on my Jeju trips for the past few years whenever I use a guesthouse, since it has a reputation for being clean and safe. This was my first visit after the renovation. The bedding was clean, and the staff were friendly. It’s easy to reach by public transportation. Samseonghyeol is close by and makes a great spot for a morning walk. Noodle Street is nearby too, so it’s convenient to get a bowl of meat noodles for dinner before heading back.
