The bathroom was roomy and clean, especially the large, well-kept bathtub. It was nice to soak in warm water and relax. The toilet and bidet were maintained well, and the bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hairdryer, razor, shaving cream, and disposable shower towels. Parking was available too. The room itself was on the small side, but clean. Breakfast was included, though it was simple fast food: cup ramen, muffins, baked eggs, and coffee. For the price, I thought it was good value. It was a much more comfortable setup than the cramped rooms and bathrooms at Japanese business hotels. The main drawback is the surrounding entertainment and motel district. Hanok Village is a 10-15 minute drive away.

Food rules here were strict. They wouldn’t let me bring in makgeolli or food, and even stopped me from carrying things I’d bought to take home. Luckily, they didn’t look in my bag. There wasn’t any room information or breakfast details, and when I called the front desk, no one picked up. The standard rooms are very small, and the hotel sits in the middle of the motel district, far from Jeonju’s tourist sights. I should’ve paid 30,000 won more for Kkotsim. Kkotsim Hotel seems like the best option in Jeonju.
