For the price, it was a clean and satisfying hotel, with a good location and plenty of parking. The room wasn’t big, but we made good use of it. We chose the clay room with a massage chair over the Western-style room, though a Styler was another option. Having a water purifier in every room was especially handy.

The building looks old from outside, but inside it’s really clean and nice. The bathroom was spotless, ventilation was good, and it was so quiet. There’s a convenience store right across the way, which was handy. The owner was very friendly, breakfast was available, and the popcorn was a hit with both adults and kids. It seems great for toddlers and children. I couldn’t take any pictures, but I’d love to go back.

We had four friends in a standard three-bedroom room. At KRW 70,000, it was good value compared with other motels costing KRW 100,000-120,000. The room wasn’t large, but the two single beds and one double bed worked well for us. The building isn’t new, though it’s clean and well kept. The bathroom was spacious and clean, and there was plenty of parking. A convenience store is right in front, with restaurants and bars just a two- to three-minute walk away.

A good-value place to get some rest in Ajung-ri, Jeonju. It’s a Hanok hotel, but you can think of it as a clean motel.

This was a standard room rather than a clay room, and it’s a bit far from the Hanok Village, so you’ll need to take a bus. Still, the cleanliness, friendly staff, and good service more than made up for that.
