Raonstay In Perla Hotel

If you're a westerner, good luck. They won't clean your room unless you ask each time, and the rooms are only marginally clean to start with. Stay at the grand.

There are several good restaurants just across the street, and the hotel is beside a shopping mall with plenty of places to eat and a grocery store. I haven't found much western food nearby. There are also lovely walking trails and parks close by, so I've enjoyed evening walks. Since this is my first visit to Korea, I can't compare it with other Korean hotels, but this one is new, basic, clean, and comfortable. There's barely a lobby, just the front desk and rooms. The staff have been very helpful with whatever I've needed, including exchanging money. The room controls are all in Korean, which was a challenge at first.

This is a business hotel, with a clean bed and hot water available anytime, and not much beyond that. The elevator is very secure since only guests with keys can use it. Parking is the issue: it's underground, and the way in is too narrow, so be careful.

The rooms are small, but everything was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was quite good. It's a good hotel, though not really international. Only some staff members speak English, and all the information is in Korean.
