Milmo Redskirt Camping Resort Caravan Park

It was the middle of winter, and the floor was freezing. The heater barely held the temperature at 8 degrees even after running all day, and one of the two electric blankets was only lukewarm, so I worried I'd freeze while trying to sleep. There was mold everywhere, and the showers at the resort were in such terrible shape they felt frightening. Then we found a mouse head under the refrigerator. We called three times, but they said they were out having dinner and didn't come back for over an hour, so we moved ourselves to the next room. Their casual response that cats do that made it seem like they had no customer service mindset at all. This was the worst Christmas. It felt like survival training, not a trip. Sob sob.

The scenery was lovely, and having a karaoke room made the stay a lot of fun. I was worried because the forecast called for heavy rain, but barbecuing inside the tent while watching the rain turned out to be charming. Glamping here was such a great experience.

I was grilling meat with bugs all around me, and the large insects flying in the bathroom were terrifying. The showers were uncomfortable, too. The tents are in awful shape, and the bed didn't even feel clean enough to lie on. The pillows smelled like hair. ㅜㅜ The price isn't cheap, so I can't see a reason to come here. I really want to stop.

The staff were friendly, and I made some nice memories. I stayed in a caravan and had fun, though in winter the hot water in the bathroom was so loud that it was a bit disappointing. It wasn't cold at all, but it got too hot. I think it would be good in summer.
