Bears Town Resort

We went with a friend's family and had a great time. The rooms are really spacious, though the outside of the place isn't much to look at, haha. Our evening barbecue even had a DJ to set the mood. It was just way too hot.

I took my four-year-old son sledding, and we both enjoyed it without any trouble. The slope is long, which was nice, though it isn't very steep and there's only one. Sometimes the wait at the top got pretty long.

With the nice weather, it's a good place to visit these days. It's close to Seoul, the accommodation is fairly clean, and the outdoor barbecue is especially great.

The fire alarm started blaring at 7 a.m. and woke me up. I thought it might be a false alarm at first, but it kept going, waking the children and everyone else on my floor, and we had to evacuate. I went downstairs and saw that other floors' alarms hadn't gone off. At the front desk, a staff member checked and said it was a malfunction. Nobody apologized or explained whether we should wait in the lobby or return to our rooms. I had to ask if I could go back upstairs, and only then got a yes. It felt like talking to AI, since they only answered the questions I asked, lol. The apology over the air came three hours later. I've never had this kind of treatment at a resort before. The room itself was in terrible shape. The building's age is one thing, but the cleanliness was really bad: the air conditioner was moldy, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned, and the bed was worse than nothing. All the furniture was old, and there wasn't even a hair dryer.
