You can pick seafood here whether you want it fresh or dried, and there are loads of choices. The upstairs restaurants will cook seafood you buy at the market. Parking can be a pain, though there’s a public lot close by.

The sellers all seemed friendly, and there was an enormous range of seafood at prices that felt very competitive. We only had a quick walking tour here as part of our Pohang tour, but the market’s sheer size was striking.

It gets lively, with crab stalls everywhere, so the sheer number can be a bit overwhelming. You can buy crabs there and have them steamed to eat. A really interesting fresh seafood market.

The place is huge, with regular grocery goods in some sections too, and everything I saw looked fresh. I picked up crabs and they steamed them for us to take home. There were all kinds of seafood to look at, including some pretty unusual items. It was a fantastic visit and a must-see in Po Hang if that sort of seafood interests you.
