The building has a really modern, attractive design, and dinner at Narnia restaurant was delicious. But I booked a studio king thinking I could unwind at Bayhill “Pool & Spa,” only to learn at check-in that my room came with no pool or hot tub access. The room itself is nice and reasonably spacious, but at $175USD, there are much nicer Jeju hotels or resorts with amenities for less. I asked to cancel after finding that out and, of course, couldn't. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you're paying significantly more, $100+ USD, for a suite with a pool or hot tub in the room.

The spa was amazing, and breakfast was delicious. I had the brightening facial, the best facial of my life. The therapist was meticulous and very professional. Housekeeping also cleaned the room every day, which made for a great stay.

The spa made the stay less enjoyable, though I don't blame the hotel since it operates separately. Its hours seemed unpredictable, and after several attempts through different methods we still couldn't book. We went in person twice during the stated opening hours, but the door was locked and nobody was there. Calling didn't work either because we couldn't communicate in English, which wasn't their fault; I wish I spoke Korean. I then tried arranging a massage by email, hoping AI translation would help. The messages clearly confirmed a day and time, but nobody was there when I arrived. Even a written confirmation didn't seem to make the booking possible. The hotel was really sorry about it. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with breathtaking views and a very comfortable room. The town is charming and quiet, just right for us, and the waterfront is easy to reach for a walk. There are also some cute places to eat nearby.

We had a great view of the ocean every morning, and the staff were helpful and spoke English well. Depending on your plans, places around the island can be about a 40-minute drive north or 60 minutes to the east side. This was easily one of the best hotels we stayed at in South Korea, and I'd stay here again.
