We stayed four nights, and I regret choosing Mercure Ambassador Hotel Jeju. It calls itself a four-star hotel, but in my view it doesn't deserve that and is closer to a two-star level. Our rooms didn't even have toothpaste or toothbrushes. The staff overcharged us, then refused our request for a refund. It was a very bad hotel. There are many nice hotels in Jeju that are cheaper, and I wouldn't recommend ruining your holiday here.

Teddy Valley Hotel was a satisfactory stay, with the giant teddy bears everywhere adding a cute bonus. The rooms are comfortably spacious, some have whirlpool bathtubs, and breakfast buffet is included. I didn't play golf, though I've heard good things about the country club. The pool was a letdown.

One of the great golf courses on Jeju island, Korea. The wide, long fairways make for comfortable play, and adventurous holes come along when you're not ready for them.
