Seogwipo JS Hotel

The staff were kind and nice, and the room and facilities were good. I had an ocean view, and there’s a garden and swimming pool on the rooftop. The pool was closed during my visit, probably because the weather was still chilly. I had a great stay.

There’s an upstairs garden and pool, with a 7-11 downstairs, and emart and a bus stop nearby. The room was medium-sized, with a great shower and bathroom. The bed was soft, and parking was free. Gym, sauna, and breakfast cost extra, but I thought the added cost was worth it.

We stayed for three days over New Year’s, and the hotel worked out great. Our room was spacious, with tea and coffee, a fridge stocked with bottled water, a balcony, and nice bathroom toiletries. At under $65 a night, the price was incredible. I couldn’t find a place like this in the US in such a beautiful location. I’m not sure who wrote the other reviews, but they don’t give this nice hotel a fair picture.

It’s clean and quiet, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I also really like the hotel’s many green campaigns encouraging guests to use less water and help save the earth. It’s near World Cup Stadium, though not right by downtown Seogpiwo. The bus ride there is about 10 minutes. If you’re fine staying outside downtown and want somewhere quiet, it’s a great budget option.
