Benikea Hotel Seosan

The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The hotel is about 2-3 years old, and breakfast is available, though you'll need to go elsewhere for every other meal. I understand that there aren't many guests in this area, so some things you'd normally expect from a hotel of this calibre aren't there yet.

A bright, modern room with the necessary amenities, plus a bathrobe, free toothbrush, and tea and coffee. It's a large, new four-star hotel in a Korean chain, with a contemporary look and easy access. I paid 70 euros for a double room with a special discount today, breakfast not included, so it was very good value. There's a rooftop restaurant I didn't try and a café in the lobby. Nearby, in the tanji/apartment area, are a few places to eat, including a pizza place and bakery.

The staff were friendly and cooperative, and the place is huge, so hopefully it will be operating properly in time. When we stayed in late May 2019 during a transit stop, though, it was basically a B&B with a poor breakfast. Only the room facilities were running. There was no restaurant, lunch or dinner, sauna, pool, or room service, and breakfast was just a paltry offering. They shouldn't charge such hefty rates until everything is up and running.

The hotel itself is good, but service at the lobby was terrible. They couldn't understand a single word of English.
