For getting around, there's a bus stop right outside, and I'd take the bus if you don't want to walk up and down the hill. The metro isn't far, but getting there means a pretty tiring uphill walk. Garosugil Road is nearby, with lots of shops and restaurants, and Saddler Haus Café is fairly close too. The room was a good size for two, and room service was great. Soundproofing wasn't so good, though, so outside and surrounding noise carries in.

The room is a bit cramped for a longer stay, over 5 days, and the concierge's English isn't very strong, which made communicating harder as a foreigner. For a short visit, though, I thought it was a very good hotel. It's in a good spot near a chic shopping area. The room was clean and really well designed, with a warm toilet and heated seat. They stored my luggage on checkout day, and even when I asked for no room service, they left an extra towel outside my door. The rooftop Cafe / Bar is lovely, and hotel guests get 20% discount.

The hairs I found on the blanket and sheets were the last straw. The bed was nearly as wide as the room, and there wasn't space to put two opened suitcases side by side. After that first night, I felt depressed thinking about returning after my morning coffee at Tim Hortons, so I moved to the nearby Andaz. I enjoyed my stay there and won't take Hyatt for granted again. I booked this Motel for 3 nights based only on its location and website pictures, but left after one night despite the prepaid reservation. I arrived at 7am and offered to pay about $70 for a day's rate to check in early. The front desk staff and manager said I'd have to pay the $250 weekend rate to check in 8 hours early. They wouldn't budge, but said I could return at 10am and pay W20,000/hour (100,000 won) for early check-in. They gave the same “option” to everyone who came after me. I went back at 10am and paid. The no-refund policy should have been a clue, and the website pictures don't tell the whole story. This is a Motel, not a “Hotel.” If price and location are all you're looking for, Anteroom may work. If amenities, cleanliness, and self-esteem matter to you, I'd look elsewhere.

The staff were super helpful. They lent me packing tape from the back, and the hotel has free self-service laundry, with free detergent too. I had an excellent experience and highly recommend it.
