Arirang Hill Hotel Dongdamun

It was a good deal for the price, and the staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and roomy enough. There are lots of bus stops nearby, with the train station only a few meters away. Airport limousine bus 6011 also runs to and from the hotel. My only suggestion would be to improve the shower’s low water pressure.

The hotel worked out perfectly for our concert trip. We wanted a good bathroom with a smart toilet and a clear separation between the toilet and shower, plus an easy connection by train to KSPO dome. It had both. The room was comfortable and spacious enough, and Sungshin Univ station is very close, with just one train-line transfer to the KSPO line. There are lots of places to eat and shop nearby. The airport limousine bus stop is around the corner, and the metro bus stop is right outside. The staff were friendly, and some spoke good English. My friend and I often come to Seoul for our favorite artists’ concerts, and we’d book this hotel again next time.

Manager Nam Guk Kim made our stay feel like being welcomed into a home base. He remembered our preferences, greeted us by name, and often seemed to know what we needed before we asked. He checked in without hovering, treated every question as important, and his team showed the same warmth. When we arrived tired from traveling, he offered us water, helped with our bags, and shared useful local tips. A small room issue came up later, and he handled it calmly with solutions instead of excuses. He followed up afterward, and everything felt right. His kindness was steady throughout, and we felt safe, comfortable, and genuinely welcome. We left rested and grateful, already thinking about coming back. Thank you, Manager Kim, for making the hospitality so heartfelt. Anyone staying here will be in excellent hands.

The room stayed spotless, spacious, and comfortable, and I slept well on the comfy bed. Housekeeping cleaned every day, changed the towels, and kept all the bathroom supplies stocked. Water pressure was good, too. Getting around was easy, with bus stops a short walk away and the train station close by. There were plenty of food places nearby. The staff were kind and helpful all the way through. You can’t adjust the room temperature, but in winter it was fine, even if it got a little warm at times. We had a great stay, would recommend it, and would come back.
