Hongdae shopping street turned out to be so close and convenient. We had first picked Bobo hotel because the name was cute and it seemed good value. After a Klook trip from our previous town, we reached the Hongik area around 9:30 PM, then spent a while searching on foot and found the place after 10. The 24/7 front desk staff were very helpful and got us checked in for the night. We were lucky to be able to extend our stay for two hours with a late checkout, for 20K KRW.

The room was okay, the shower temperature stayed steady, and there was free drinking water. If you're lucky, they may let you check in early. It's easy to find and a short walk from the subway, around 5-10 minutes from either Hongdae or Hapjeong station. For travelers wanting a nice place near Hongdae, I'd recommend it. I was satisfied for the price.

The room was clean, and I liked having the sink, shower, and toilet in separate spaces. There was plenty of room to do my makeup. It's about a 10-minute walk to Hongdae Market and 15 minutes to Hongik Univ. Station. I've stayed in three hotels in Korea, and this one had the friendliest receptionist. He couldn't figure out how to help me register for an e-bike, but he still tried. At the other hotels, the receptionists barely wanted to communicate. I'd recommend this place and stay again if I come back to Hongdae.

Our room had enough space for two, and the bed was clean and pretty comfortable. There was a free luggage scale at the bistro near reception. The bathroom and toilet had a smelly bidet, and water kept spreading from the bathroom out to the toilet. I also found the AC hard to control, maybe because they use one remote for everyone. We slept well, but for us the price felt high for the location alone.

It's easy to get around Hongdae from here, with the subway and buses nearby and the airport bus stopping very close. The rooms are clean and large, there's free Wi-Fi, and the place is LGBTQIA friendly. The cafe and bistro have closed, but there's plenty of everything else nearby.
