The neighborhood worked really well for me: Sinchon was close, Hongdae was walkable, and buses ran all over. There was lots nearby for food, a gym, spa, dentists, markets, and nightlife. Since the hotel sits one street back from a main road, my room stayed quiet. I was there for two nights, and the front desk guy gave me a free upgrade. The crew were suuuper nice. My room had a full bathtub with Jacuzzi jets, a decent set of toiletries, and a gaming PC, though I couldn't read Korean well enough to use it. They kept my bag for about 12 hours before check-in and let me leave it there after checkout on my last day too. The storage spot was out in the open, but it was under a camera and nothing happened either time. I'd leave it there again. I felt comfortable doing so. Free water, too. Gotta love that. Five stars, easy.

I spent several nights here, and the thing I regret most was the male receptionist's attitude. I reported that the washlet was broken, but they didn't even check it and just told me it was a good room. What a shame. It is a motel, after all. There isn't a safe in the room, so you'll need to keep an eye on your belongings. They'll clean the room if you put the sign on the door.
