I liked the solo-traveller feel here, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed 5 nights after booking through AirasiaGo, made lots of friends, and found the couch super comfortable. It's clean enough for a budget guesthouse, and better than most Japanese guesthouses I've tried. Free ramen noodles, drinkable water, and cooked rice were nice perks, and it's an easy walk to the clubs. I'd definitely return. The downside is the wait for the bathroom, since there are only 2, so shower early.

The staff were kind and friendly, and the accommodations were really nice. I enjoyed the free coffee and rice, and met a lot of nice people during my stay.

The location near Hongdae was great, but the rooms were tiny and crowded. There were also long waits to use the bathroom.
