Good option for exchange students: it's close to Korea University Station, KU's main gate, and the KU Business School, with Anam within walking distance. There are lots of parties and fewer rules than in KU dorms. The showers were almost dark at night, and the washing machines were dirty and left residue on my clothes. Rent payment was confusing too. I was told by email I could pay a prorated amount, but wasn't allowed to and had to pay for a full month despite staying only 11 days.

Crimson house has a great atmosphere, with nearly all the residents being exchange students. The rooftop beers are great too. It's right next to school and reasonably priced, so it's the place I'd recommend to exchange students.

Crimson house was affordable and close to the university, and it added so much to my exchange in South-Korea. I made friends for life there.

The rooftop is incredible, and the rooms are big with a really social feel. If you're studying at Korea University, this is the best off-campus place to stay, right next to the university.

We didn't go inside, so I can't comment on the interior. From outside it looked modern. We came to get familiar with the campus because my only granddaughter, coming from the US as an exchange student, will attend Korea Univ next semester.
