Hotel Cullinan DaeChi

A really bad experience. The hotel feels shady and unsafe, and the service was poor. Don’t go.

I found the hotel surprisingly clean and upscale for the price. I needed somewhere last minute because I was too tired to drive, and I wasn’t expecting much given the cost and a Friday night booking. It was quieter than you’d think for such a busy area, which felt safe at all hours. It’s easy to miss at night, so keep an eye out. Valet parking was free, and the hotel is very close to Seoullung station with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. It was tourist-friendly, with English and Chinese translations. The bed was too stiff for me, and the pillows were harder than I personally like. There’s no safe in the room, but the front desk will hold valuables while you’re out. A mini fridge had two free waters. For 1.000₩ (~1$), you could get extra amenities, including two toothbrushes, a women's vanity kit, body scrub, assorted lotion packs, a shaving kit, condoms, and styling gel. Soap, conditioner, and body wash were in dispensers beside the shower.

They charge another 30000 Won if you want to check in at 3 pm. Otherwise, you have to wait until 7 pm. After check-in, they also try to sell you an amenity kit that should already be in the room. Very bad.

You have to keep asking for basic things like bath soap and toothbrushes, since they don't provide them without being asked. The hospitality felt poor, like their main concern was getting more money from customers.
