Dears Myeongdong

We spent four nights in a double room. Getting to myeongdong took about 10 minutes on foot, and the station with two train lines was around five minutes away, so the location was decent. The room was really warm in November 2025. The AC only put out hotel air, with no cold air, so opening the window was the only way to adjust the temperature and get ventilation. I was on the 8th floor, across from the main street, and traffic made the room noisy with the window open. Room cleaning also fell short, for example, used cups weren't cleaned. They were very inflexible about check-in and checkout. Even after four nights, they wouldn't allow an hour of early check-in or late checkout. Given the price, the room and that lack of flexibility, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

During our stay of nearly a week, every staff member was helpful and quick to respond when we needed something, and they helped sort out any issues. We really appreciated that warm service. Lee Seunghun at the front desk helped us on both arrival and departure days, and the housekeeping team on Level 12 took great care of us. If we get back to Seoul, we'd choose Homes Red Myeongdong first. Thank you.

We had the grand suite, and the views were amazing. The rooms are great, but we weren't warned before arrival that the air conditioning was out. They couldn't offer us another accommodation, and the room ended up stuffy and uncomfortable.

It was a pretty positive stay, and I'd consider coming back. The dining options nearby are plentiful, and the Airport Limousine 6001 stop is right across the street for getting to Incheon Airport. The service was satisfactory and the staff were friendly. My heater worked for just one day, then stopped for the rest of my stay. Checkout is at 11 AM, but they charge extra for late checkout, which I don't find common at most hotels.
