My room was on the fifth floor, and carrying a 25 kg suitcase up the stairs was tough since there's no elevator. The room was small, the bathroom smelled, and the hot water dispenser is only on the fourth floor. Maybe that's reasonable for a guesthouse, but not for a hotel.

There aren't many reviews on Google Maps, though booking.com has lots. This place felt like a hidden gem: it was tidy and really clean, the en suite bathroom was lovely, and the beds were comfortable. It's near the metro too.

A really good central hotel, and it can be budget friendly if you catch a deal. The rooms are clean and fresh, the AC is great, and the staff are friendly.

The rooms were really comfortable, and the place was clean with top notch service. Staff get 10/10 from me, and the location does too. This spot is definitely underrated. I plan to stay again, and a big thanks to manager kwon for being such a polite, amazing person.

A clean, self-sufficient room, with coffee, hot water, a microwave, and laundry available. It's close to Dongdaemun Station and within walking distance of DDP. There are also places like Daiso, CU, and Mega Coffee nearby. Dongdaemun market is worth a visit if you want cheaper items, it's a low key market.
