Four Points by Sheraton Seoul Gangnam

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I liked having a bidet and handy fridge. For a short stay, this hotel is fine, but after five nights I’m not sure I’d repeat it at this price. There isn’t much communal space, less than the photos suggest, so nowhere comfortable to lounge when the small room has only the bed to relax on. The room needs general upkeep: caulking, drains, and shower heads need attention, and the outlets are so loose that plugs fall out. The layout leaves hardly any room for even a couple of small carry-on suitcases. It sits at the corner of two busy roads, so it isn’t very quiet, though being on the 18th floor helped. There was no coffee machine, just instant packets.

I was in Seoul on a recent business trip. The hotel is modern, and the service was great. The rooms are decent and make good use of limited space. The concierge was helpful and could speak English. It’s on the quiet edge of Gangnam, with the nearest metro station about a 10-minute walk away. The airport bus stops beside the hotel and runs in a loop, which was convenient, though the ride takes around 90 minutes.

I only had one night in Seoul for a business trip, but it was a great stay. My premium room was upgraded to the stunning Penthouse suite. Jina at the front desk was a gracious host and very helpful. I’d recommend this place.
