G Yongsan Inn

We spent eight nights here and found it comfortable, practical, and good value. Check-in is self-service: the owner sends the main door and room codes before arrival, which made getting in straightforward. Cleaning is up to you each day, but it’s easy to borrow a vacuum from reception, do the room when you want, and return it. There’s also a free washing machine downstairs. The location is handy for the Korea War Museum and access to Myeongdong, and you can see Namsan Tower from nearby. The one inconvenience for me was arriving before check-in and finding there was no reception toilet for guests to use while waiting for their room. Even with that, I’d still highly recommend this budget-friendly stay.

I don’t really get why the place has such a low rating. The rooms may be small, but they’re clean and comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and quite spacious. I’d recommend it.

The room felt cold, there was no water, and the floor was dirty. It seemed like nobody had cleaned it.

For the price, the rooms are both roomy and clean.
