The hotel is near a station, though getting to the airports takes a while. The area is fairly quiet, which was lucky because the walls are thin. Inside, things feel worn and dated, and cleanliness could be better: I found hair in folded towels and on the bathroom walls, plus stains on the towel and bedding. There was dust around the bed, and the shower was hard to manage. The taps were especially difficult to turn when wet.

Getting around is easy because the subway station is so close, though the main parts of Apgujeong aren’t especially nearby. What brought my rating down was the check-in. The man at the desk spoke with a strong accent and seemed sure of his English, but his manner felt dismissive and unfriendly. My mother and I arrived late with several bags, and he didn’t offer to help or even greet us during our stay. I expected more courtesy and professionalism from a hotel, so the experience was disappointing.

Breakfast had a tasty spread, and there’s a well-equipped gym on the fourth floor for guests. Our room was clean and really comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again.

The room was roomy, comfortable, and had nice bedding. The staff were kind, and there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I also liked the clean, good-smelling towels and robes, plus the little lavender-scented toiletries. I’d booked two nights for a business trip with a special offer, so it was good value. The one bad part was the constant sound of water draining from the ceiling. I couldn’t sleep well the first night and turned on the TV to cover up the creepy noise. Should’ve brought earphones. Still, waking up to a lovely sunrise over the city put me in a good mood, and it was a good stay overall. 👍
