Hilton Garden Inn Seoul Gangnam

The breakfast was better than average, with a good selection and fresh food. The staff there were friendly, attentive, and professional, and helped leave the stay on a positive note. Hilton Garden Inn Seoul Gangnam itself looks great, modern, clean, and very well kept. My room was spotless and comfortable, just what I've come to expect from Hilton Garden Inn. I've always been impressed with the brand, and the room and facilities delivered. Late at night, around 11 pm, there was basically no food available nearby because everything had closed. The lobby shop has a few basics, which helps, but don't expect a proper meal that late. Check-in wasn't as welcoming as I'd hoped. A supervisor handled it, but as a Diamond member I didn't get the usual warm greeting or a thank you for my loyalty. There was also a small disagreement about my card details even though the room was already paid for. The process felt awkward. A friendly welcome matters after a long day of travel. It's a beautiful hotel with excellent rooms and a strong breakfast, and I hope the front desk service is as good as the rest next time.

Supervisor Gwen Park made my business stay feel very welcoming, and sorted out any issues right away. As a Diamond member, I'm especially grateful. She deserves a promotion. The location is prime, with the train and metro right in front of the hotel, and Gangnam station just one stop away. Rooms are clean, with large bathrooms and soundproof windows that open for fresh air. The grand breakfast buffet has a variety of Western and Eastern choices, and laundry and gym are included. I'll definitely stay here on my next trip.

The breakfast was excellent, and the common areas were in good condition. Staff were friendly and spoke English quite well for foreign guests. Rooms aren't the biggest, but they were very clean, quiet, and comfortable, with good soundproofing despite the hotel being on one of Seoul's busiest streets. The overall experience was excellent. It's in the southern Gangnam/Seocho area, a two minute walk from Yangjae station and close to attractions, mainly the Gangnam shopping district and Seoul Arts Centre.

Our family of four loved our two night stay in December 2025. The Hilton Garden Inn in Seoul is very conveniently located, with a brightly lit lobby and a room big enough for all of us. The nearest train station is a five minute walk, and Myeongdong takes about 30 minutes by train. There's also a convenience store 50 m away and a nearby Korean small eatery serving delicious Korean food that our family loved.
