Hotel ENTRA Gangnam

The price felt a little high for such a compact room, but the clean, helpful service and convenient location made it worthwhile. I stayed in a Superior Single Room at Hotel Entra Gangnam. It was smaller than I’d like, though I understand that’s pretty standard in South Korea, and it was thoughtfully laid out and very clean. Everything felt modern, efficient, and well-maintained, with what I needed for a comfortable visit. The staff were polite and professional throughout, and the location is handy for exploring Gangnam. A solid option if you want a neat, well-managed hotel without fuss.

I had two reservations, one for two nights and another for three, but the room was below standard from the start. The property felt outdated, the furniture was worn, and the walls were visibly dirty. It wasn’t suitable for a four-star hotel, so I asked to cancel the second booking because of the cleanliness and poor conditions. They refunded only two nights and charged me for one, even though the basic standards weren’t met. The staff weren’t honest or clear with me, and customer service was extremely poor. I can’t recommend this hotel. There are much better choices nearby, such as Marriott or Four Seasons, with cleaner rooms, better value, and higher service standards. The star rating is misleading, and I’d advise against staying here.

For nightlife, keep in mind that Hongdae and Itaewon are quite far away, so getting there takes a longer ride. Around Gangnam, though, the hotel is conveniently placed for shops and public transit. I stayed one night in a Superior Single Room at Hotel Entra Gangnam. Breakfast wasn’t included, but that wasn’t a big deal for one night. Staff were polite and professional, and the hotel felt calm and well-maintained. The price seemed a bit high for the room size and lack of extras, but the cleanliness, location, and service made it a solid no-fuss choice.

The rooms are very small, and there isn’t much to do around the hotel. There’s a tiny convenience store behind the store and a small eatery that stays open late. If you’re looking for fun, this isn’t the hotel for you.
