The staff were caring and helpful, and the room looked really nice with everything I needed. My only real missing item was a dental kit. There’s a Seven11 right across from the hotel if you need to pick something up. If you want to spend all your time downtown, this location may not suit you. Taking the metro into the center with two transfers takes about 20-25 minutes, and if you like staying out late, you need to be back between 23:30-00:00 to catch the last metro. I work in guest relations, so I’m commenting from that point of view. Overall, the hotel was nice, with some shortcomings.

For the cheap price, I’d still recommend it. The room was clean and very spacious by Korean standards, and the front desk spoke English and helped whenever I had a question. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, though, and there was a bit of a weird smell.

I had to pay an extra 10,000₩ to switch to a slightly better room because staff wouldn’t move me for free. Even there, hairs were still left in the bed and the sink was clogged. The first room was dirty and dusty, looked like nobody had stayed in it for ages, and smelled musty. The hallways were full of cigarette smoke. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. I don’t recommend it.

The front desk didn’t speak English, but they really tried to help me and even printed maps so I could use the subway.
