Hotel28 Myeongdong

The staff were warm and welcoming, and the hotel has a luxurious feel with lovely high-end bath products and excellent amenities. Getting to public transport and local attractions was really convenient, and there’s an Olive Young nearby too. We’d definitely stay again.

The staff helped with restaurant bookings and arranging taxis, and the Molten Brown amenities were a nice touch. Our room was a decent size, not huge, but we could fit three large suitcases open. The bed was comfortable, the aircon cool, and the water pressure really strong. Despite being on a busy street in the middle of Mydeongdong shopping, we slept peacefully without street noise. Everything was fantastic from beginning to end, and we’d definitely recommend it.

We started our two-week Seoul and Tokyo trip here, and it was a great choice. The staff were so kind and went out of their way to help. Ask for hand warmers each day, they last all day and Seoul can get really cold. The hotel is right in the busy Myeondong area, with endless shops, cafes, and restaurants. It’s about a three-minute walk to the main road for taxis around the city. Rooms were clean, modern, well equipped, and a good size. The bathroom has a rainfall shower, which is always a plus. There’s a restaurant on both the 6th and 2nd floors, plus a good coffee shop attached on the ground floor that gets busy every day.

Nancy Kim went above and beyond, and my wife and I were really impressed with her service. This was our third stay at Hotel 28, and the rooms have always been amazing. The windows are very soundproof, we couldn't hear anything from the street. This time, though, our room looked onto a very creepy stairwell. The hotel only made that clear after the booking was done. They should look at offering guests a choice between street-view and alley-view rooms.
