The staff are nice, the bar is decent and reasonably priced, and the mattress was okay. Those were the positives for me. The room itself was small, dusty, and dirty. Our private room had its own toilet and shower, but there was no toilet paper, and the showerhead faced the wall, so having a comfortable shower was impossible. The pillows were bad, too. Sleep was the main problem. After more than 40 countries and countless hostels, this was easily the loudest one I've stayed in. It's not mainly the karaoke on Tuesday or the live band on Friday. The rooms all open onto a hallway leading to the outdoor stairs, and everyone, including late arrivals, uses the same door. You hear it slam, along with people talking, footsteps, and pretty much every other noise. A door closer or something similar could reduce the impact, and would be a five-dollar fix. There were insects as well. We killed nine mosquitoes on the first night, and the bloodstains from previous guests were still on the wall. It's one of the cheapest options, so if a good night's sleep doesn't matter to you, you might go for it. But if you want to enjoy Seoul and sleep well, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The workers were mega cool, and drinks were really affordable. I also liked that there was a spot to meet other people. It's really close to the main street in Hondae, which made the location great. They have a new anti-bedbug bed, too. Had a wonderful time and will definitely come back on my next trip!

That cozy pub inside the hostel was a highlight, a nice place to meet other backpackers. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The location made it easy to explore Seoul, close to the subway station and Hongdae area. I absolutely loved my stay. Everything exceeded my expectations, highly recommend!

I liked the friendly host and the fun events most. Since the hostel is close to the subway, getting to different tourist attractions was easy. The events also let me mingle with Koreans, make local friends, and travel with them, so I think I'll come away with a lot of memories. Best hostel I've visited on my trip.

The hosts' live band on Friday night was really high quality, and having free beer while hanging out with different people was great. With a pub on the first floor, this hostel has a unique setup. I enjoyed chatting over beer with the friendly hosts and fun travelers, and noticed they took hygiene seriously. This was the most fun travel experience I've ever had. If I visit Korea again, I'll definitely come back!
