JD Tower Hotel

We tried two hotels while traveling in Seoul, and this was our favorite by far. Our corner room had big, beautiful windows and lots of natural light. It was spacious enough for us to open one large, one medium, and two small suitcases at the same time, and the wide window ledges were practical too. I liked having a sink in the room and a good-sized cabinet for hanging jackets. The bathroom was fine otherwise, though the shower door could seal better, as water leaked during showers. There weren’t many electrical outlets. They were only on one of the two bed headboards, and the closer one was the only one that worked, so we had to share it. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. They stored our luggage on checkout day and lent us a handheld scale to weigh it. We’d definitely stay here again.

The room was a good size, the shower pressure was good, and it was surprisingly quiet. The location is fantastic, close to the old village and several train stations, and there’s a bus straight to the airport. It honestly exceeded expectations.

The staff were so welcoming, and the receptionist was really sweet. The hotel was clean and in a great spot. I’d stay here again.

The kitchenette came in handy for keeping convenience store snacks and drinks in the fridge, and there was plenty of storage for two people and our two large suitcases. We had everything we needed, with amenities that felt high quality and spa-like. For our 10-day stay, the room was quiet, very clean, thoughtfully designed, and had a gorgeous view of Namsan. Getting around was easy, with lots of bus stops close by and two metro stations just 4-5 minutes away. We also went to Paik's Coffee on the first floor every day for delicious, affordable coffee. The staff were welcoming, accommodating, friendly to foreigners, and gave us lots of Seoul recommendations. We felt well looked after. JD Tower Hotel worked perfectly for our trip.
