After walking all over Seoul, I was glad to have a bath in the room to relax my old creaky joints and tired body. A tub is rare these days when modern hotels often only have stand-up showers. The staff were very polite and friendly, and they did everything they could to make our stay smooth and trouble-free. They were accommodating throughout. There are eateries and restaurants around the hotel, with a good selection just outside the lobby. If you prefer staying in, the convenience store is only a few steps away. The hotel has everything you could want and more, and I’d recommend it to Seoul visitors who like peace and quiet, away from tourists. For me, it’s easily the best hotel in the district. I disagree with Gen X guests who complain that it’s outdated or not modern.

We booked for five days at the last minute, and it turned out to be the best hotel. Check-in and checkout were easy, and we loved the rooms and bathroom. If you’re coming to Korea, I highly recommend staying here.

We got an upgrade to a spacious, beautifully designed room with a bed that adjusts at both the head and foot. I’d never stayed above the 20th floor before, so being in this high-rise was a first for me. The lobby had a sleek, modern, minimalist look. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the main train line, with plenty of coffee shops and convenience stores nearby. There’s also a Olive Young right next to the hotel, and I had a great stay.

The place was clean and looked well cared for, but I had a really uncomfortable stay. Our room stayed at 26°C around the clock, no matter what we did with the AC. Staff suggested switching it off. That brought the temperature down a little, but without any air moving, the room got stuffy and I ended up with headaches. There was just one blanket in our double room. When I asked for another, they said hotel policy didn't allow it and gave me the address of a mall so I could buy one myself. I've never had to purchase my own blanket at a three-star hotel before.

Really nice stay. The staff were helpful, the rooms were clean, and check-out was at 12pm. The facilities were great too. It's a bit away from the city centre, so getting around Seoul can be a hassle, but I still loved the hotel.
