I’d never stayed in a hostel before, but this one was close to where I was moving next, and it helped me get to know the neighborhood. I shared a two-bed room with another woman, and there was enough room for both of us. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean, and there are washing machines, though I didn’t use them. The staff were really nice despite speaking only a little English. When the hot water stopped working on my second day, they fixed it right away. It’s on the third floor, so getting a suitcase up two flights of stairs was a pain. The hostel is right above Olive Young, which could be handy. I’d recommend it to women traveling alone who need a place in this area.

The calm room and the considerate women I shared it with made for a comfortable stay. I was traveling alone and felt a bit lost at first, since I didn’t know the language or how things worked there. I later spotted signs explaining things, but a quick introduction when I arrived would have helped. Breakfast was decent, and being able to use the microwave and get hot water all day was great. I drink mate, so that was especially useful. I’d stay again. My first visit to Seoul was lovely, and this place helped make it a good trip. Thanks!

It was quiet at night, which was a nice extra, and the staff were really friendly. The rooms aren’t large, but there’s space beneath the bunks for two big suitcases. My own cabin had enough room to lie comfortably, with space beside the mattress for clothes and other things.

The relaxed atmosphere suited me, and having a women-only hostel made me feel more comfortable. It’s conveniently close to Ehwa metro station, and the price is very good. The staff were friendly too. I’d recommend it.
