After a long flight, we were told a maid could come by midnight, even though we had to be up at 5:30 the next morning. The apartment was filthy when we checked in late the night before, clearly not cleaned after the previous guest. The toilet had stains, hair, and marks everywhere; the floor had footprints, trash, and dust, and the bathroom floor was so dirty our socks stuck to it. Wi-Fi didn’t work either. I spent an hour messaging the person responsible. I sent 20 photos of how disgusting it was, but he only apologized for there being some hairs and said it wasn’t a hotel, as if that made it acceptable. He offered to send someone to clean, then sent a maid the next day. They sprayed the toilet with the shower head, leaving water everywhere, toilet paper soaked, and the apartment still dirty. The whole thing ruined our stay and took so much of our time. I really hope others don’t book this place and go through the same experience.

At around 3,000 yen a night, the price is unbelievable. There are lots of restaurants nearby, many of them tasty, and Myeongdong’s busy downtown area is just over a 10-minute walk away. The airport limousine bus stop is also close, and it seems well suited to a longer stay. I’d like to make this my regular place to stay. It’s an apartment on an upper floor of a large building, less than a five-minute walk from Chungmuro Station, with T-Mark Hotel next door. There’s no front desk, so you need to contact them on LINE and let yourself into the room, which was a little inconvenient. I was on the 17th floor and had a nice view. The 30 m² room had two queen beds, a kitchen, a big fridge, a microwave, and a washing machine. The furniture is a bit old-fashioned, but that wasn’t a problem. There’s a bidet toilet, and the clean shower booth is separated by glass. No bathtub. Shampoo with conditioner, body soap, and a hairdryer were provided. Wi-Fi worked fine, and when I contacted them on LINE about an issue, they replied quickly.
